FUGITIVE COLORS recently won the IPPY (Independent Publishers Book Award) gold medal for “Best Literary Fiction 2014”, and won first prize at the Hollywood Film Festival (Opus Magnum Discovery Award). “HEEB” Magazine named FUGITIVE COLORS among its “Top 10 Best Books of 2014”.
Lisa is also the creator and editor of the popular Mom blog “GIRLilla Warfare: A Mom’s Guide to Surviving the Suburban Jungle” (http://girlillawarfare.com) which launched in May, 2012.
Lisa’s greatest joy is writing while raising her three teenage daughters, and stealing away for “coffee time” with her husband David Barr. She lives in the Chicago area with her family, two dogs, and lots of Girl Drama – fodder for her next novel.
